This is a neat installation in the lobby of Lutheran General Hospital's new Pediatrics Wing. Normally, a rainbow very slowly rolls up the wall. 8 hidden sensors can be activated when various spots on the wall are approached. These cause a ripple to expand from the sensor location across the wall, in a color that contrasts the base color at the sensor location. Tripping multiple sensors at various times can cause some neat interference patterns. We hope the installation brightens the days of children who would rather be somewhere else.
