Harpo Studios:

In the winter of 2005 we were asked to provide pricing for a fixture package to be used on the new set of the Oprah Winfrey Show.  What we noticed was that htis new fixture package was far larger than the existing control architecture was designed to handle.  In order to provide control to the LED & Automated lighting package that was planned, a new control infrastructure would be needed.  After careful deliberation we designed, provided, and installed a new network that could handle control of not just the new lighting package for the main studio, but also a second studio in the same building.  In the summer of 2006 this system was expanded to include the control of Oprah's new XM radio studio in a second building over a fiber optic line.  We hope to continue our association with Harpo studios to meet all of their dimming & control needs.
