Granger Community Church:
As one of the largest and most technically advanced churches in the South Bend area, the technical staff and volunteers at Granger Community Church are quite familiar with the ins and the outs of making a worship service exciting and relevant to the 6000+ people who visit each week. When it came time to double the size of their auditorium in the spring of 2005, though, they turned to Designlab to ensure that their stage was lit properly for the worshippers in the front rows, those who primarily look at the image video screens, and those who receive the weekly services on DVD or webcast. Designlab came through with a design that works for the cameras when their subject is anywhere on the roughly 90' x 30' stage, or in the aisle surrounding it. With this base laid in place, the creative people who light the services can feel free to use their automated lighting, color changers, and other effects however they will be most effective in illuminating the message for the congregation.
