Scenic Paints:

Shopping for the correct type of paint can be time consuming and tideous, but at Designlab we are here to alliviate the hastle.  We carry a wide avriety of paints and paint products.  Below is a list of some of our most popular paints. 

Off Broadway:

The most popular vinyl-acrylic scene paint, is used by artists and sceneshops everywhere.  It is a versatile paint that can be used on a variety of scenic materials right out of the can or thinned with water for water-color effects.

Supersaturated:

 A highly concentrated acrylic paint that can be used to create the widest variety of scenic effects.  Suppersat can be diluted as much as 15:1 for brilliant dye-like effects while retaining binder strength.

Iddings Deep Colors:

A traditional casein based paint manufactured with a high percentage of ground pigment.  Deep colors is a versitile paint that can be re-wetted, diluted, and sealed with various sealers allowing for a wide range of painting techniques.

Ultimatte Video Paint:

A vinyl acrylic paint specifically formulatted for the Ultimatte Paint System (green/ blue screen).

Fluorescent & UV Paints:

Rosco offers two different liness of UV reactive paints:  Rosco Fluorescent and Rosco Vivid FX.   These fluorescent paints are brightly colored under normal light and fluoresce under UV/ blacklight.  The Vivid FX line is specifically formulated for use with UV/blacklight and creates a stunning visual effect.

Wildfire Paints:

The highest quality Ultraviolet colors on the market are opaque, water-based, acrylic colors that are fully mixable.  UL tested as non-toxic.  Invisible colors appear white under normal light,  while invisible clear coat dries to a clear finish.
